Put your villagers to work
Gold, wood and sheep come from villagers working the mine, the lumber camp and the farm. Raise the castle to house more people, research better tools, and ask the advisor what you can do right now.
Round based strategy, portrait mobile and browser
Grow a small kingdom, train an army and march it down three lanes toward the enemy castle. Both sides give their orders each round, then the armies move and the battles play out on their own. Your part is the planning.
Build, recruit, deploy, watch the round resolve, adapt. No fast tapping and no precise dragging: every decision is a few taps, and every round feeds the next.

Swordsmen, spearmen, archers and monks each have a job. Arrange them on a four row formation, shields in front and healers at the back, and that is exactly how the army will fight.
Take resource points and build watchtowers on them. Clear monster camps in the jungle, beat the troll and summon it to fight for you. The fog hides what the enemy is up to until your scouts get close.
When the orders are in, the round resolves. Armies march, meet and fight on their own, and what you watch is exactly how the fight was decided. Then you plan the next move, or storm the enemy walls.
